Finally getting Our Hands On Google Disavow Tool

Please follow the steps i have listed out. And please remember I have already told, its really very very powerful service. It can surely help you in getting recovered from penguin, and at the same time can worse your current overall SERPs. The maximum upload limit of the .txt file is 2MB.

• Move To Google disavow links tool
• Now select your domain name
• Now you will redirected to a new webpage, which will be showing you a warning message.

• Then finally click on ” Disavow Links “
• It will ask you to upload the .txt file

Below I am listing out the method in which you have to enter the domain names in the .txt file ( those spam domains ).

For example say : theirs a domain name : uglydomain.com and you are getting link-back from this website. Put those links are not worthy, simply you consider it as spam. So you would like to either block the whole domain, or one particular page.

• In order to block this domain : domain : uglydomain.com
• In order to block particular page : http://www.uglydomain.com/page4.html
• Similarly in order to add the comments you can use : # Your Comment ( Comments are ignored by Google )

Once you completed this process you will get notification in your webmaster tool’s account. Remember that this methods is good to overcome negative SEO, but it can take upto seven days ( almost 1 to 1 and half week ) for complete enforcement.

What I have to Do When I want to Update The List

Again the steps are very simple. Please move to the Disavow Tool and Then finally click on ” Disvow Links “. Once you click it, you will see a new screen popups. It will contain the file you had uploaded previously, and it also gives you option to either delete them or download them.

So simply click on ” Download “. Add the new domains or pages, and reupload it. Please give few hours to bots, so that they could crawl then new links you just updated.
