How can you make your blog fast for free. So here’s the collection of free plugins to help you make your blog load faster, actually after using these plugins and services your website will now load amazingly faster then ever it used to. All the plugins are compatible with latest version of wordpress and they are easy to use except few one of them.
The Problems faced by slow blogs. Google will surely not give you better search positioning for any keyword. You will lose customers and subscribers. You lose your money.
Google mainly and other search engines have been considering page load times as one among their criteria for giving page-rank. Since 1990 page load time has been one of the most factor for getting better search engine’s result positioning.
Now from the side of consumers : eBay loses 1% sales for every 1 second they page load time increases. According to Google 82% of customers will leave your website without even entering it if it doesn’t loads within 2 seconds. Today market is changing and internet is just so portable. Everyone wants the information in their desired place and in their desired device, that is mobiles, tables, laptops etc. When it comes to mobile then every byte optimization is necessary.
So lets make you blog load faster
1 ) WP Super cache : This wordpress plugin empowers blogvkp.com and many other thousands of blogs and websites. I love this plugin very much because of its functionality along with maintained simplicity. Unlike W3Total cache this plugin is updated with WordPress. WP super cache have lots of features to modify, but they all are very simple to understand and implement. It also supports CDN services and can force the custom HTTP request rules. Just like w3total cache, you can set the minification of HTML in super cache, but for that you have to upload Minify and WPSCMin into the custom plugin folder within the super cache plugin folder.
2 ) Quick cache : This is among the most downloaded plugin for optimizing your wordpress based blog for better serving. Its the easiest caching plugin you would have ever seen. The unique part of this plugin is, it sends no-cache header to local browsers. Quick cache runs completely on php code. This causes browsers to make the cache of the files locally. Now seriously increases your page-load time. Quick cache doesn’t provide any kind of support for CDN services, nor it has any inbuilt program for minification process of css, html or javascripts.
3 ) Cloudflare : This is the world’s best free CDN service provider. I am using this service and its just so awesome. I love cloudflare, since it helps me to decrease my server load, it distributes my cached files on 14 different servers world wide, reduces my bandwidth and finally protect my website from hackers. Check the complete review on cloudflare. Cloudflare has its own personal official plugin which helps
4 ) Wp-Minify : This is the best plugin to make your blog load faster. Trust me, its has capability to minify, combine the HTML, css and javascripts files. If you use them with cloudflare and any of the cache plugin, then you cache files will be reduced further. This plugin is best to reduce the server requests for javascript files. Use wp-minify and it will help you further to server your files even more faster.
5 ) WP-Smush.it : Images are the major cause to increase the page load. But yahoo’s smush.it can help you. Its the service provided by yahoo corporation. This service helps you to decrease the size of you image without compromising with its size and appearance. You have to just install the plugin and you have to get the API. Once done, you just have to start this service and it will upload the files from your server to yahoo and then will replace it with original image file. Remember that your GIF may be converted to PNG format. Smush.it actually removes all the metadata from the image, removes the unused colors from indexed images, compress JPEG to better level. Using this service can really help your make your blog load faster.

I truly love your blog.. Pleasant colors & theme. Did you make this amazing site yourself?

Yes your are right, I have made it myself
You can also look into modifying the htaccess to speed wordpress up even further, even if WCTotal cache, WP-Minify and other plugins are used.
I am just going to update the whole list. Thanks for listing those plugins out here.
