Lovely article. Any tips on how to start with reddit (I posted just one link and got 100-150 visitors from it), digg and pinterest without being like “hey this is my link visit it? I’d like to start with those, but I’m not that experienced.
I don’t think digg gives me any visitors now a days. But pinterest usually gives me around 40 to 50 visitors every day. I will soon write an article on pinterest traffic..

I’m joking, but i made a different choice and it’s about my visitors privacy: not all of the people want to be tracked by social networks, some of them even use to stay logged out from those greedy networks in order to avoid that websites running after momentary fashions put their privacy in the second place. I made the choice (as webmaster/sysadmin) to use only one social network, privacy oriented and unavoidable the biggest in a long term. Do you think i’m on the wrong path? Am I actually neglecting quality traffic? Let me know!
